According to the British Daily Star Germanwings suicide-pilot Andreas Lubitz was haunted by secret homosex demons. According to the tabloid, gay rumours about the fitness fanatic’s personal life circulate across Germany. Lubitz’ relationship with a girlfriend broke down. He was taunted by pilot pals for previously being a “trolley dolly” airline steward and dubbed Tomato Andy – a derogatory gay slur. Lubitz enjoyed partying at the nearby nightclub Agostea in Koblenz, which holds boozy, circus-themed events involving drag queens and dwarves.
